Jim Harbaugh, Michigan getting trashed on social media after pitiful first half showing vs. Wisconsin
By Dave Holcomb

It was an ugly first half for Michigan against Wisconsin. Wolverines fans would probably like a distraction from the game, but hopefully they didn’t decide to check out Twitter.
The Wolverines posted under 100 yards of offense and just nine rushing yards in the first half. Defensively, they struggled too, allowing Jonathan Taylor to rush for 143 yards and two touchdowns. Wisconsin controlled the ball for more than 23 minutes and posted more than 300 yards of offense. Michigan recorded two giveaways and again had to punt to begin the third quarter.
As one would expect, the criticism of Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines has never been louder on social media.
Probably the worst half of football Michigan's had under Jim Harbaugh. You could argue maybe at PSU in 2017 or second half at Ohio State last year.
But either way: This is the Big Ten opener in year five. And Michigan looks completely overwhelmed.

Guys, I'm starting to think Michigan might not win the Big Ten.

Joel Klatt: "This offensive line is playing as poorly as I've seen a Michigan offensive line play in a decade."
That's pretty damning if you remember some of those Hoke O-lines.

Is it bad that Michigan's defense has given up 131 points in its last 10 quarters against Power Five opponents, and been outscored 131-54? Yes, I think it is bad.

The criticism of Jim Harbaugh is often unfair. Harbaugh has led Michigan to 10-win seasons in three of the last four seasons. Considering where this program was under Brady Hoke, that’s a major accomplishment.
Having said that, performing this poorly in a first half following a bye is pretty inexcusable. Michigan deserves a lot of criticism for its first half against Wisconsin.
