The injury to Coy Cronk doesn’t sound too good, according to Indiana head coach Tom Allen.

Following Indiana’s 38-31 win over UConn on Saturday, Allen met with the media in the postgame press conference, providing an update on his star offensive lineman. While he didn’t have many specifics immediately after the game, he didn’t sound very optimistic.

“It doesn’t look good,” Allen said, according to Zach Osterman of the Indianapolis Star. Cronk did not have to go to the hospital for the injury, which Allen detailed as an ankle issue.

Cronk is the best offensive lineman on the Indiana roster and is a team captain. He left the game in the first half following the injury.

Indiana is 3-1 following the win over UConn and went a perfect 3-0 in non-conference games. The only loss was to Ohio State. The Hoosiers will step back into conference play next week when they take on Michigan State.
