Facing the Nebraska Cornhuskers in the B1G opener for both schools, Illinois redshirt senior running back Reggie Corbin got the Illini on the scoreboard first with a 66-yard touchdown run on just the second play of the game.

Beginning their season with back-to-back wins over Akron and UConn, Illinois is looking to rebound after falling to Eastern Michigan on September 14, 34-31.
In addition to giving the Illini an early lead, Corbin’s run moved him closer to joining some elite company in program history, via Jeremy Werner:

A three-star recruit in the 2015 class according to the 247Sports Composite, Corbin surpassed 1,000 yards for the first time in 2018.
