Ex-Ohio State duo combines for defensive TD with New Orleans Saints

This pair of former Buckeyes are still making big plays. This time, they’re making them in the NFL for the New Orleans Saints.
Vonn Bell and Eli Apple are back together again after playing together at Ohio State. The defensive back duo was a part of the 2014 National Championship team for the Buckeyes, and they are still strong defenders.

In Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks, the two combined for a defensive score for the Saints. It started when Apple ran down a Seattle ball carrier and punched the ball out from behind. Bell scooped it up and ran it all the back, putting the Saints up in the first half.
