It took more than two weeks, but Buffalo punter Evan Finegan is back on his feet.
Finegan suffered a broken fibula and tibia in his right leg against Penn State when Nittany Lions running back Journey Brown dove into his legs while trying to block a punt. Finegan needed surgery and has been bed-ridden since the injury on Sept. 7, but he is back walking on the football field Tuesday.
The punter posted a video of himself taking a few steps on the sideline Tuesday morning:

During his recovery, Finegan received a lot of support from the Penn State football community. Nittany Lions head coach James Franklin even came to visit him in the hospital.
