B1G fans who have Dish for their satellite television provider may have a serious problem this weekend.
According to John Ourand of Sports Business Journal, Dish Network has dropped FOX channels, which includes FOX broadcast channel, Fs1, Big Ten Network and FS2. There are three B1G games that will air on one of those channels this weekend.
Those games are:
- No. 12 Penn State vs. Maryland (FS1, 8:00 p.m. (Friday))
- Rutgers vs. No. 20 Michigan (BTN, 12:00 p.m.)
- Indiana vs. No. 25 Michigan State (BTN, 3:30 p.m.)
Dish Network dropped Fox channels this afternoon – the broadcast channel, FS1, BTN, FS2.

Ourand shared the statement FOX issued following the news:
Dish/Sling is at it again, choosing to drop leading programming as a negotiating tactic regardless of the impact on its own customers. Dish/Sling elected to drop FOX networks in an effort to coerce us to agree to outrageous demands…
While we regret this is Dish/Sling’s preferred approach to negotiating, we remind our loyal viewers that the FOX services are widely available through every other major television provider.
The FOX networks own a large portion of B1G football and men’s basketball games, with several matchups featured every week.
