The Associated Press Poll voters dropped the Clemson Tigers from No. 1 to No. 2 after their narrow win over the 2-3 North Carolina Tar Heels on September 28.
Well, ESPN CFB analyst Paul Finebaum had an even stronger take, leaving Clemson out of his top-four entirely.
Here are who Finebaum thinks are America’s four best teams through five weeks of action, courtesy of 247Sports:

Putting the No. 4 Ohio State Buckeyes at the top of his list, Finebaum was very complimentary of the team’s star quarterback, sophomore Justin Fields, during Tuesday’s appearance on “Get Up!”
“I like Ohio State with Justin Fields, they have been spectacular so far,” Finebaum began.
“It’s no longer just Alabama and Clemson like we thought before the season.”
Fresh off a 48-7 shellacking of the Nebraska Cornhuskers (3-2) in Lincoln, Fields has the Buckeye offense rolling downhill. Averaging 535.6 yards per game, Ohio State has scored at least 42 points in every contest this season.
The Buckeyes host No. 25 Michigan State (4-1) on Saturday (7:30PM ET, ABC).
