Iowa is currently 4-1 on the season, while Penn State is 5-0. The Nittany Lions have breezed by each of their opponents this season outside of an in-state rivalry game against Pittsburgh that ended with a 17-10 final score.
Iowa has taken care of each of its opponents handily as well (outside of Michigan of course), except for another in-state rivalry game against Iowa State, which saw the Hawkeyes win 18-17.
