Don Brown: DL Aidan Hutchinson was battling a ‘bug’ during huge Week 6 performance

Aidan Hutchinson was a monster against Iowa, and defensive coordinator Don Brown shed even more light on his remarkable performance Monday.
Hutchinson was everywhere against the Hawkeyes as Michigan shut down Nate Stanley and the Iowa offense. He compiled six total tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, a sack, a forced fumble, and a pass breakup in the dominant win. For his efforts, Hutchinson was tabbed the B1G’s Defensive Player of the Week.

That massive performance takes on an even bigger light considering Brown’s comments. According to Brown, Hutchinson was dealing with an “injury bug” during the game against Iowa. Regardless of that upper-body issue, it did not stop Hutchinson from performing at an incredibly high level.
Angelique Chengelis with the Detroit News shared Brown’s comments:
Don Brown said on Inside Michigan Football radio show tonight says Hutchinson had “an injury bug in the upper body” but never scaled back

Considering his performance against Iowa, it doesn’t appear the “injury bug” will limit him in any way for Week 7 against Illinois.
