Corey Clement will get a do-over in 2016.

According to Jeff Potrykus, the Wisconsin tailback will be coming back for his senior season in Madison.

Previously, the redshirt junior said that if he was projected to be drafted in the top-three rounds, he would forgo his senior year for the NFL draft.

He was expected to be a breakout star in the B1G following the departure of Heisman Trophy finalist Melvin Gordon.

Instead, Clement’s 2015 season never took off.

He only got eight carries against Alabama in the season opener, but it was revealed that he was nursing a groin injury. Clement then elected to have sports hernia surgery, which sidelined him for the next seven weeks. In his first game back, he racked up 115 yards and three touchdowns, but was too sore to play the following week.

But then it was revealed that Clement was cited for two counts of disorderly conduct following an altercation at his apartment complex. That led to a hand injury and a team suspension that sidelined him in the regular season finale against Minnesota.

Clement’s status for the Holiday Bowl has yet to be determined.

Like he was entering 2015, Clement will be one of the conference’s top returning offensive players in 2016.
