Ohio State DB Jordan Fuller earns prestigious national recognition for big game vs MSU
Ohio State stepped up once again in Week 6, and Jordan Fuller was a big part of that win over Michigan State.
The Spartans entered Columbus as big underdogs, but it is never wise to underestimate Mark Dantonio with his back against the wall. Fortunately, the Buckeye defense did more than enough, limiting Michigan State to 10 points and enough miscues to run away with the score.

A big part of that strong performance was Fuller. A senior leader for the defense, Fuller was everywhere against the Spartans, finishing with seven tackles and an interception in the shutdown win.

On Tuesday, it was announced that Fuller received national recognition for his play. The Lott IMPACT Trophy officially announced Fuller as the Week 6 Player of the Week for his performance:

According to the Lott IMPACT Trophy website, the annual award is unique in that it puts equal weight on performance and character and is awarded to one defender annually. This is definitely a well-earned and appropriate recognition for Fuller.
