Saturday has not been kind to the Illini.

Everyone was well aware that it was going to take a huge effort from Illinois to take down No. 16 Michigan. That margin for error was made even smaller when it was announced that starting quarterback Brandon Peters would miss the game.

Unfortunately, Michigan has stampeded any hope of an upset to start the contest. The Wolverines have used plenty of offense and defense to run out to a 21-0 lead, and this blocked punt only punctuated the early showing.

One Michigan defender flew around the edge and performed a beautiful diving block of the kick as it flew back towards the Illinois goal line. The punter remarkably tracked it down near the five and somehow STILL tried to punt it again with the Wolverines bearing down on him.
