There were a few different reactions to Kareem Walker’s commitment to Michigan on Thursday.

For Wolverines fans, it was one of joy. For Buckeye fans, it was likely one of frustration. For the rest of the B1G, it could’ve been one of fear.

Ok, maybe not fear. But Michigan did land a player that could be the face of its offense for years to come.

Some national writers, like USA Today’s Dan Wolken, took that and ran with it.

As you could guess, Wolken caught a lot of feedback for this claim.

In his defense, Michigan could end up with a top-three 2016 class. Given what Harbaugh did with a 5-7 squad, which has a chance to double its win total if it beats Florida in the Citrus Bowl, that’s a good sign.

Right now, it’s still Michigan State and Ohio State’s division to win. But that didn’t stop Wolken from defending his claim that it’d be Michigan’s reign soon.

Let’s just all agree that the B1G East will be the nation’s best division for years to come.
