There was a scary moment in Minneapolis on Saturday, as Nebraska freshman RB/WR Wan’Dale Robinson was carted off the field after sustaining a lower body injury. However, head coach Scott Frost seems pretty optimistic about the freshman’s outlook.

On Tuesday, Frost met with the media and provided an update on the elusive star of Nebraska’s offense.

Frost said that Robinson “will be fine,” and is expected to return this season. After being carted off the field at Minnesota, there was some concern the freshman could miss the remainder of the year.

In Saturday’s 34-7 loss to Minnesota, Robinson had six carries for 24 yards before being carted off.

Robinson has been an all-purpose weapon in Frost’s offense this season. He’s totaled 49 carries for 214 yards and two touchdowns and added 336 yards and two touchdowns on 27 catches.

Nebraska enters a much-needed off week before returning to the field on Oct. 26 against Indiana.
