The NFL mock drafts are in a league of their own. Even though we’re only halfway through the 2019 college football season, the draft boards are continually updated based on performance.
This week, Pro Football Focus has provided a first-round mock draft situation for the 2020 NFL Draft. It has predicted with 32 players will be selected in the upcoming draft, and six B1G names are on the list.
At the No. 1 spot is current LSU and former Ohio State quarterback Joe Burrow, who has been lighting up scoreboards through the first half of the season. He’s one of the nation’s top passers and has the Tigers off to a 6-0 start.
Four B1G players were projected to be top 10 picks, according to PFF. Two more were slated as first-round talents. Here’s a look at the B1G names, PFF included in its mock draft.
- No. 2: Chase Young, DE, Ohio State
- No. 3: Jeff Okudah, CB, Ohio State
- No. 4: A.J. Epenesa, DE, Iowa
- No. 8: Tristan Wirfs, OL, Iowa
- No. 25: Yetur Gross-Matos, DE, Penn State
- No. 31: Tyler Biadasz, OL, Wisconsin
