Purdue WR David Bell hauls in TD catch while falling to ground

Purdue fell behind Iowa early, but the Boilermakers ended the second quarter with the only touchdown of the first half.
With 38 seconds remaining in the half, Purdue quarterback Jake Plummer found wide receiver David Bell near the sidelined in the end zone for a touchdown. Bell made the catch while in the process of slipping to the ground.

Bell leads the team with six receptions and 86 yards. Plummer went 16 of 22 for 162 yards and a touchdown in the first half.
Iowa didn’t score a touchdown in the first half but kicked three field goals. The Hawkeyes lead the Boilermakers, 9-7, at halftime.
