Wisconsin doesn’t have much time to lick its wounds after losing to Illinois last Saturday. Arguably the team’s most important game of the regular season is this weekend against Ohio State.

“We have to turn the page fast,” Chryst said. “Obviously, it was the first time this group, this season, lost. And yet, I appreciate where they were at and how they approached today.”

Wisconsin led Illinois by nine points in the fourth quarter, but Illinois scored the final 10 points of regulation, including a game-winning field goal as time expired, to win 24-23. As a result, Wisconsin dropped from No. 6 to 13 in the AP Top 25.

Chryst also began speaking about the matchup with Ohio State on Monday. When discussing the Ohio State offense, Chryst said Buckeyes quarterback Justin Fields “can hurt you in a number of different ways.” He was also very complimentary of Buckeyes coach Ryan Day, saying he’s “doing a heck of a job.”
