Urban Meyer won’t be watching Ohio State-Wisconsin from the field: ‘That would be real awkward’

Urban Meyer obviously has his ties to Ohio State.
He didn’t just coach there. He won a national title there.

Now, he’s with Fox as a college football analyst. And, as a part of the network’s Big Noon Kickoff show, he will be live at Columbus for the Ohio State-Wisconsin showdown taking place on Saturday, Oct. 26.
With knowing Ohio Stadium inside and out, where will Meyer be watching the game from? Will he be on Ohio State’s sideline?
Not quite. He said he wants to be, “out of view.”
“No, I’d want to dive in the middle of the field, call a play or something,” he replied. “That would be real awkward.”
Now, if Meyer were to jump in and call a play, that would be fairly awkward. Not that the play wouldn’t work. Meyer knows what he’s doing when it comes to offense and play-calling.
That much has been evident over the years.
