Mike Locksley gives encouraging injury updates regarding starting QB, RB

Maryland got off to a hot start in 2019, cruising through its first two games of the season.
Quarterback Josh Jackson — a transfer from Virginia Tech — and running back Anthony McFarland were having their way with opposing defenses. Through those first two games, Jackson had 541 yards passing and seven touchdowns compared to one interception, while McFarland rushed for 93 yards and four touchdowns.

Again, they were dominating. But then, injuries happened. Jackson has played in five games this season, while McFarland has appeared in six. Maryland’s offense hasn’t been the same.
After a 2-0 start, the Terrapins are now 3-4 and their lone win in the past five games came against Rutgers. However, news on the injury front surfaced Tuesday from coach Mike locksley and things are looking in the right direction:
Maryland QB Josh Jackson and RB Anthony McFarland are back practicing at 100 percent, Mike Locksley said.

If Jackson and McFarland are at 100 percent, maybe the Terrapins can get back on track. This week, Maryland travels to take on an undefeated Minnesota team. There would be no better time to prove that Maryland is in fact, back.
