The black uniforms pay homage to their starting defensive players, which are nicknamed the “blackshirts” at Nebraska.
The Cornhuskers unveiled a new alternate look in August with an all-black uniform combination, but according to Sipple, Nebraska will only be wearing the black jersey with white pants.
Nebraska will host Indiana in Lincoln at 3:30 pm ET on Saturday.
