Jack Stoll has a clear message for players not willing to ‘live up to Nebraska standard’

When you agree to play football at Nebraska, you’re agreeing to live up to a certain standard. That standard is taken very seriously by guys who wear the “N” helmet every Saturday.
One of those individuals is tight end Jack Stoll. And recently, Stoll was asked about players who aren’t willing to live by or uphold that standard in Lincoln. The tight end’s message was pretty clear.
“If you’re not going to live up to the standard we’ve set for Nebraska, we’ve said, from day one, we’re going to straighten you out or we don’t want you here,” Stoll told Sam McKewon of the Omaha World-Herald.

There was no specific reference to a certain player in the quote, although running back Maurice Washington is no longer included on the depth chart. Scott Frost said on Monday the running back is currently not a part of the team.
While Stoll didn’t mention any names in the quote, it’s clear that there are no exceptions to the rule. Players either have to be willing to live by a certain standard or plan to move on from the program.
It’s just part of the culture Frost is trying to recreate in Lincoln.
