Nebraska is dialing up some special plays against Indiana!

The Cornhuskers are off to a solid start in the first half of action. They also dialed up a trick play to key the start of this drive.

What started as a jet sweep turned into a reverse to receiver JD Spielman. That was not the end as he threw a pass on the run, connecting with QB Noah Vedral down the sideline.

It went for a big gain with a late hit called against Indiana tacking on 15 yards:

From there, Wan’Dale Robinson took a short screen pass and went all the way down inside Indiana’s red zone. The freshman playmaker continues to show off his speed and running ability with the Cornhuskers:

In the end, Vedral, filling in for starter Adrian Martinez, scored on a short keeper play:

Indiana has since closed the gap to 14-9.
