Penn State is right where it needs to be headed into its second bye of the season.

After back-to-back wins over ranked opponents, a number of analysts predicted a trap game for James Franklin’s squad in a trip to East Lansing. That close game never developed as the Nittany Lions controlled the game in a 28-7 win over Michigan State.

Now, ESPN’s FPI has updated Penn State’s odds the rest of the way. With four games left on the schedule, there is one tough game and one extremely difficult game left.

A surprisingly undefeated Minnesota team will be next in a road trip for Penn State on Nov. 9. After that, Ohio State is the only other game where the Nittany Lions are given less than a 90% chance to win.

Here’s how the FPI is predicting Penn State’s remaining games:

  • Nov. 9 @ Minnesota – 73.1%
  • Nov. 16 vs Indiana – 91.6%
  • Nov. 23 @ Ohio State – 19.0%
  • Nov. 30 vs Rutgers – 99.5%
