With the news out of Tallahassee on Sunday that Florida State has decided to part ways with head coach Willie Taggart, oddsmakers in Vegas are already gathering lists of potential candidates to fill the role.

Monday morning, Stadium’s Brett McMurphy tweeted out the names most likely to take the job at Florida State, as assembled by BetOnline.ag. The names of a few B1G head coaches (current and former) made the list.

Penn State’s James Franklin, Minnesota’s P.J. Fleck and Michigan’s Jim Harbaugh were the three active B1G head coaches to be included on the list. Former Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer was the fourth name on the list.

Below are the odds, as shared by McMurphy on Twitter:

Franklin, Fleck and Meyer have also been considered potential candidates for the job at USC, as well. Though there’s still no word on Clay Helton’s future with the program.

There are some big-time jobs available in college football right now, and some B1G names are already swirling as potential candidates. It should make for an interesting offseason.
