Urban Meyer knows all about the College Football Playoff, and the former head coach turned analyst shared what he wants to see on the initial College Football Playoff Rankings.

With the 2019 season entering Week 11, the first rankings are due out Tuesday evening. LSU, Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson, Penn State, and Georgia rounded out the top six on the latest AP Poll, and each team from that list has reasons to claim inclusion in the top four.

When it comes to Meyer, he hopes the CFP Committee prioritizes one thing with their rankings. For Meyer, it’s all about who teams have beaten as opposed to who have you lost to.

“I hope (the Committee) looks at who have you beaten? That has always been No. 1 on my list,” explained Meyer. “Not who have you lost to, who have you beaten?

“I actually put Ohio State No. 1 after the big win over Wisconsin. I think they’re the best team in the country, I think they have the best roster in the country. But what do you do with LSU? LSU’s had the best wins. Two top-10 wins, one on the road. Ohio State hasn’t played a top-10 team yet.”

Fans will find out for sure how the Committee feels about the B1G’s three undefeated teams – Ohio State, Penn State, and Minnesota – Tuesday evening.
