Now that the College Football Playoff rankings have been released, every analyst on every network is producing their top six rankings following every Saturday. After an interesting day of college football, Jesse Palmer and Joey Galloway unveiled their latest rankings.

Both Palmer and Galloway have an SEC-loaded top six, having three teams from the conference in the mix. But that’s not the most intriguing part of their top six rankings. They are actually quite different in terms of where the two have B1G teams ranked.

Galloway isn’t sold on Ohio State, while Palmer seems to be on the wagon. Galloway isn’t very high on Minnesota, either. Palmer is giving the Gophers some credit. Here’s a look at both of their rankings:

Joey Galloway

  1. LSU
  2. Clemson
  3. Ohio State
  4. Georgia
  5. Alabama
  6. Oregon

Jesse Palmer

  1. LSU
  2. Ohio State
  3. Clemson
  4. Georgia
  5. Alabama
  6. Minnesota

Galloway has Ohio State in that No. 3 spot, despite a 73-14 win over Maryland on Saturday. He also kept the Gophers out of the top six even with a 31-26 victory over No. 4 Penn State. Palmer seems to be a little more impressed with both.

We will see what the College Football Playoff selection committee does with the rankings on Tuesday.
