This series has been close as of late, and despite what some Michigan fans and players say, there is absolutely a rivalry between the Wolverines and the Spartans.
If that wasn’t apparent before, it was apparent after a quote came from Michigan DB Ambry Thomas:
Ambry Thomas on UM-MSU: “It’s about who’s the big brother and who’s the little sister in this state. That’s what it’s really about. We plan to give them our all just like they plan to give us their all."

It’s not about which team is better. As Thomas puts it, “it’s about who’s the big brother and who’s the little sister in this state.”

Michigan-Michigan State is scheduled for a noon ET kickoff on Saturday and the game will be televised on FOX.
