Mark Dantonio after losing to Michigan by 34: 'Disappointing, but we'll rally back'
Michigan State hadn’t been having the season many were anticipating, but neither was Michigan. Yes, the Wolverines were favored to beat their in-state rival.
But, they weren’t supposed to beat them by 34 points. The final score was 44-10.

The 34-point loss was the worst for a Dantonio-led Spartans team against Michigan. It wasn’t pretty for either side of the ball.
After the game, Dantonio met with the media and talked about rallying back after the loss which puts his team at 4-6 overall:
Dantonio: "Our focus will always be on what happens next after this particular game. Disappointing, but we'll rally back."

He talked about the penalties and lack of discipline as well:
Dantonio on penalties and lack of discipline: "Disappointed in those, because we talk about keeping our composure." Said refs "called it close due to everything that goes on in this game."

Dantonio was also asked about potentially taking out QB Brian Lewerke. He wasn’t thinking about that:
Dantonio on not taking out Lewerke: "I didn't want to go that direction."

Dantonio says chemistry remains good. Calls "work ethic on field solid."

Hopefully for Dantonio and the Spartans’ sake, the chemistry is good. If it isn’t it may be hard to win both of its last two games. If it doesn’t, Michigan State won’t be bowl eligible.
That wouldn’t be good if you’re Dantonio, who has heard rumblings regarding his job due to the team’s poor play.
