It is well known that the B1G is home to some impressive linemen, and two of the best are still in the running for a prestigious national award.
On Wednesday, it was announced that Wisconsin center Tyler Biadasz and Iowa tackle Tristan Wirfs were named among the six semifinalists for the Outland Trophy. One of the more illustrious national awards, it is annually given to the best interior lineman in the country. It can be given to either an offensive or defensive lineman.

Both players have been among the most consistent linemen in the country this season and have done an exceptional job of carrying on the lineman legacy at Wisconsin and Iowa. Three finalists will be unveiled on Monday.
The last winner from Iowa was Brandon Scherff in 2014. The last winner from Wisconsin was Gabe Carimi in 2010. Can Wirfs or Biadasz claim the trophy this season?
