On the field, Maryland hasn’t impressed many since Week 2. The Terrapins got off to a 2-0 start, but have gone 1-7 in their last eight games.

Off the field, Maryland has had some issues keeping players — freshman defensive back Ken Montgomery decided to transfer a week ago — and on Friday, a source confirmed with 247Sports that another DB — safety Treron Collins has decided to leave the program.
