Purdue has not been a healthy football team this season. When it has been, it showed flashes of explosiveness. The Boilermakers can score. That’s not an issue.
And even now, in Week 13 with an injury-riddled roster at Wisconsin, it can still put up points. Purdue trailed 14-3 early and then scored a touchdown to make it 14-10.
Mid-way through the second quarter, the Boilermakers struck again to take a 17-10 lead.

That tight end, by the way, was Purdue’s Brycen Hopkins. If there’s one player you want to make sure you keep an eye on as a Badger defender, it’s probably Hopkins.
Earlier this week, he was named a semifinalist for the John Mackey Award — given to the nation’s top tight end.
