It wasn’t a particularly pretty performance, but Dwayne Haskins has his first victory as an NFL quarterback!

In Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions, Haskins completed 13-of-29 passes for 156 yards. He did not throw a touchdown and had one pass intercepted by former Penn State DB Amani Oruwariye.

Despite that performance, Haskins still had a chance to drive for the game-winning score. With the score all tied up at 16-all, Haskins found former Ohio State teammate and fellow rookie Terry McLaurin for a crucial first down.

It was a nice pitch and catch that gave Washington the distance to kick a game-winning field goal:

McLaurin finished the game as Haskins’ leading target. He hauled in five catches for 72 yards.
