Wisconsin-Minnesota can’t have much bigger implications. The winner doesn’t only win the Big Ten West, it moves on to the Big Ten Championship and has the chance to potentially spoil Ohio State’s season.
Wisconsin won 14 straight matchups in the battle for Paul Bunyan’s Axe against Minnesota up until last year. Last season, the Gophers bested the Badgers in Camp Randall. It was a turning of the tide.
Can it continue this season? Minnesota will be at home this time around for a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff on Saturday, Nov. 30. The game will be televised on ABC.
On Tuesday, Wisconsin released its early status report for the game:

Both Faion Hicks, a CB, and OL Cole Van Lanen are questionable. Meanwhile, nose tackle Bryson Williams will be out. The Badgers won’t be at 100 percent, but it’s not the end of the world — most teams aren’t this time of year.
