Wyatt Davis once wore blue on a visit to Ohio State. Here’s what he did with all his blue-colored clothing after committing to Buckeyes

Blue isn’t a color you see on Ohio State’s campus and it’s noticeably absent from the football facilities, as well. And you won’t find the color in Wyatt Davis’ closet, either.
This week, several Ohio State players were asked about the rivalry game with Michigan on Saturday, how they were introduced to it and what it means to them. Davis, an offensive lineman with the Buckeyes, has one particularly interesting story.
While meeting with the media on Tuesday, Davis explained that he once wore a blue tank top in the summer while on visit to Ohio State’s campus. When then-head coach Urban Meyer noticed what the prospect was wearing in Columbus, he had a stern remark.
“He said, ‘Do you have that ugly color on? Don’t do it again,'” Davis told reporters on Tuesday.
After Davis told the media that story, one reporter decided to ask the offensive lineman how much blue clothing he owns now. To no one’s surprise, Davis doesn’t own any.
So what did he do with it all?
“Oh, I burned it,” Davis said, according to Dan Hope of Eleven Warriors.
That’s one way to get rid of all that blue clothing. And it’s also a way to ensure he didn’t have another one of those encounters with his head coach again.
Just more evidence that The Game is something that extends past the football field. It’s not just a game, it’s a way of life.
