According to FanDuel Sportsbook, here are the updated top four:
- Joe Burrow, QB, LSU: -1350
- Justin Fields, QB, Ohio State: +1400
- Chase Young, DE, Ohio State: +3000
- Jalen Hurts, QB, Oklahoma: +3000
Ohio State always has loads of talent. What’s different about this year is that a defensive player has a chance at winning the award.
The last time that happened was in 1997 when Michigan’s Charles Woodson won. Even then, Woodson had statistics to point to offensively that showed off his greatness.
