Penn State’s Yetur Gross-Matos is wrapping up his junior season, and the talented defender announced his decision for the 2020 season on Tuesday.

In a note shared on Twitter, Gross-Matos announced that he intends to forego his senior year with the Nittany Lions to enter the 2020 NFL Draft. The decision was not necessarily a surprising one with various outlets projecting the EDGE rusher as a first-round selection.

He did indicate at the end of his note that he looks forward to suiting up for one more game with the Nittany Lions, indicating he plans to play in the bowl game:

Gross-Matos has been an impact defender during his time in Happy Valley. He finishes his career with 110 total tackles, 35.5 tackles for loss, and 17.5 sacks. His best game of the season came when the lights were brightest with nine tackles, 3.5 for loss, and two sacks in the loss to Ohio State.

Hopefully, Gross-Matos lands with a solid NFL team and is able to carve out a role for himself at the next level.
