Southern Columbia (Catawissa, Pennsylvania) 2020 five-star wide receiver Julian Fleming was named one of three finalists for the 2019-20 Gatorade National Football Player of the Year Award on Friday.
Committing to Ryan Day and the Ohio State Buckeyes on May 31, Fleming is the No. 2 overall player in the cycle, the No. 1 wideout and the No. 1 player in the state, per the 247Sports Composite.

Possessing promising size at 6-foot-2, 200 pounds, Fleming capped off one of the most decorated high school football careers in Pennsylvania history with his second consecutive state title.
Contributing two touchdowns, Fleming and the Tigers (16-0) routed the Avonworth Antelopes (15-1), 74-7, on Friday night to claim the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) Class 2A championship. Owning state records for receiving yards and touchdown receptions, his 255 career catches were just five shy of another record.
Fleming plans to make his commitment official during the Early Signing Period on December 18 and enroll at Ohio State for the spring semester beginning on January 6.
