ESPN announces broadcast crews for College Football Playoff, New Year’s Six slate

Bowl season is upon us with the first bowl game right around the corner!

The slate of bowl games officially kicks off Dec. 20 with the Bahamas Bowl. After that, there will be nine B1G teams in action this postseason with the College Football Playoff Semifinals taking place Dec. 28.

The two semifinals this season are the Playstation Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, Arizona between Ohio State and Clemson and the Chick-fil-a Peach Bowl in Atlanta, Georgia between LSU and Oklahoma. ESPN will have the coverage for all the CFP action, as well as the New Year’s Six Bowls.

On Tuesday, ESPN revealed who will be working every bowl game on the network, including the CFP matchups and New Year’s Six slate. Here are the crews:

  • No. 2 Ohio State vs No. 3 Clemson – Fiesta Bowl: Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit, Maria Taylor, and Tom Rinaldi
  • No. 1 LSU vs No. 4 Oklahoma – Peach Bowl: Sean McDonough, Todd Blackledge, and Holly Rowe/Laura Rutledge
  • No. 8 Wisconsin vs No. 6 Oregon – Rose Bowl: Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit, Maria Taylor, and Tom Rinaldi
  • No. 5 Georgia vs No. 7 Baylor – Sugar Bowl: Sean McDonough, Todd Blackledge, and Holly Rowe
  • No. 17 Memphis vs No. 11 Penn State – Cotton Bowl: Mark Jones, Dusty Dvoracek, and Olivia Dekker
  • No. 24 Virginia vs No. 9 Florida – Orange Bowl: Steve Levy, Brian Griese, Todd McShay, and Molly McGrath
