The Doak Walker Award is given to the nation’s top running back each season. Last year, Wisconsin’s Jonathan Taylor brought home the award.
This year, well, nothing changed:
Wisconsin's Jonathan Taylor repeats as winner of the Doak Walker Award as the nation's top running back, beating out Ohio State's J.K. Dobbins and Oklahoma State's Chuba Hubbard.

As Nathan Baird tweeted, Taylor beat out Ohio State’s J.K. Dobbins for the award. Wisconsin may not have beaten Ohio State this year on the field, but many believe Walker is the best tailback in the country — again.

A Wisconsin has now won the Doak Walker Award four times in the last eight years, and Taylor joins only Ricky Williams and Darren McFadden as the only players to win the award twice.
This season, Taylor rushed for 1,909 yards and 21 TD, while accounting for 26 TD in total. He has now rushed for 6,080 yards in three seasons.
Taylor is incredible, just in case you weren’t aware.
