The never-ending battle between the SEC and B1G for conference superiority rages on. And this time, it was an Auburn defensive tackle throwing some shade at Ohio State star defensive end Chase Young.

This season, Young finished with one of the most dominant defensive seasons in recent memory. He registered an NCAA-best 16.5 sacks and forced six fumbles on the way to a 13-0 season in Columbus. His efforts landed him a spot in New York for the Heisman Trophy ceremony.

Putting up those kind of numbers is incredibly impressive. But Auburn defensive lineman Coynis Miller thinks Young wouldn’t enjoy that success if he wasn’t playing in the B1G. If Young was playing in the SEC, Miller says the sack total wouldn’t be nearly that high.

“I wanna see Chase Young come get 16 sacks in the SEC,” Miller wrote on Twitter.

Young went up against some of the top offensive lines in the country, including Penn State, Michigan and Wisconsin twice. He was even suspended for two games (Maryland and Rutgers) and still was able to put up incredible numbers.

Following Miller’s tweet, Ohio State defensive back Damon Arnette leaped to his teammate’s defense.

“Bra what did u do this year,” Arnette responded.

Miller, a sophomore at Auburn, played in nine games and ended the season with four tackles.

Young is one of the few defensive players ever to receive an invitation to the Heisman Trophy ceremony and has been huge in Ohio State’s transformation from a mediocre defense into one of the best in the country. Regardless of opponent, Young was one of the most outstanding players this season.
