It seems like each and every year, Iowa plays in a respectable bowl game. The Hawkeyes may not finish 13-0, but they always appear in a postseason game that you’ve heard of.
Nowadays, there are plenty of bowl games you likely haven’t heard of.
The Holiday Bowl, however, is one many should recognize. That’s the game the Hawkeyes are in this year and they are playing USC.
The contest takes place on Friday, Dec. 27 and it will be televised on FS1.

On Monday, Hawkeye coach Kirk Ferentz spoke with the media:

He also talked about junior wide receiver Brandon Smith:

Smith has appeared in seven games this season and last appeared in the game against Purdue on Oct. 19.
