For most high school players, the Early Signing Period begins Wednesday morning. However, it is already Wednesday in Australia!
That is how Minnesota already has a signee for 2020 by landing Mark Crawford out of Australia. Crawford is an Australian punter working with Prokick Australia, an organization that has produced five Ray Guy Award winners since 2013.
Just kidding, Tuesday night surprise!
Before we head down under for the Outback Bowl, we went down under for our newest #Gophers punter!

Believe it or not, the Gophers are not the only school to land a signee on Tuesday. Florida head coach Dan Mullen also announced that the Gators have signed a punter from the Land Down Under.
Now, we’ll wait and see who joins Crawford in signing with Minnesota during the Early Signing Period beginning on Wednesday.
