Indiana’s All-American had himself an All-American week of practice at the Senior Bowl.
As a result, he earned himself an honor that could help his draft stock.
The 6-7 left tackle was voted by NFL scouts as the best offensive lineman after a week of Senior Bowl practices. He was one of only three guys from Power Five conferences to earn accolades.
The other seven players that got recognition at their respective positions were:
- QB: Carson Wentz, North Dakota State
- RB: Kenneth Dixon, Louisiana Tech
- WR: Sterling Shepard, Oklahoma
- Specialist: Jeff Overbaugh, San Diego State
- DL: Noah Spence, Eastern Kentucky
- LB: Reggie Ragland, Alabama
- DB: Harlan Miller, SE Louisiana
Spriggs is projected as high as a late first-round pick after allowing just two sacks in 526 pass attempts as a senior. He earned All-America honors from the Football Writers Association, Sporting News, Walter Camp Foundation and the Associated Press.
As you can see, Spriggs is still harassing B1G defensive linemen:
