Ohio State’s future at quarterback appears to be set. The Buckeyes added one of the top passers in the 2020 class to their recruiting group on Wednesday.
Four-star pro-style quarterback C.J. Stroud committed to Ohio State on Wednesday. He picked the Buckeyes over Georgia, Michigan, Baylor and Boise State, among several other offers. He’s ranked as the No. 2 pro-style passer in the 2020 cycle, and is ranked inside the top 100 overall.
Below are some of Stroud’s highlights from his high school career.

Stroud is a Rancho Cucamonga, California native and really picked up interest late in the recruiting cycle. Ohio State had been the favorite to land the four-star talent, but with so many great offers on the table, it was hard to project where he might commit.
Now, we know.
According to 247Sports, Stroud becomes the ninth player ranked inside the top 100 to commit to Ohio State in the 2020 class. It’s been an outstanding year on the recruiting trail for Ryan Day and company.
Ohio State currently owns the top ranked recruiting class of the 2020 cycle in the B1G, and is in no jeopardy of being dethrone. Nationally, the Buckeyes rank No. 4.
