Michigan State senior guard Joshua Langford is done for the remainder of the college basketball season, head coach Tom Izzo told reporters on Thursday.

Langford, who hasn’t played in a game this season, underwent a second surgery on his left foot, this time to fix a stress reaction. The injury is similar to the one Langford suffered last year.

In December 2018, Langford suffered an injury against Northern Illinois and did not play the rest of the season. He’s played in just 13 games over the last two seasons.

Langford averaged 15 points in those 13 games last season.

For his career, Langford played in 83 career games and was averaging in the double-digits in points over the last two seasons. He also shot over 44 percent from the field for his career.

Michigan State is off to an 8-3 start with a 2-0 record in the B1G.
