Buffalo’s ridiculous trick play may prove to be the worst of Bowl Season

Bowl Season is officially here with Buffalo taking on Charlotte in the Bahamas Bowl!

As the game hits halftime, Buffalo has dominated the action with a 17-0 score at the break. To this point, the Bulls have controlled the game on both sides of the ball.

However, not everything by Buffalo has worked out flawlessly in the game. The team did try to execute one trick play that was doomed from the start.

It began with a running back trying to “hide” by crouching low behind the line and next to Buffalo QB Kyle Vantrease in the backfield. After the snap, the ball was slipped to the running back with the rest of the offense running a misdirection option formation to the opposite side of the line.

It didn’t work with the back getting tackled immediately behind the line of scrimmage:
