Junior Aho is a 6-foot-3 defensive end who was committed to be a part of Nebraska’s 2020 class. Every other player that had committed had signed during the Early Signing Period.
However, Aho — a 3-star JUCO recruit according to 247Sports — had not. And on Saturday, Aho was “excited” to re-open his recruitment:
I am excited to reopen my recruiting process as I announce I decommit from Nebraska and look forward in the future challenges as I’m speed training in LA 🐆💪🏾#free https://t.co/ZedQFIfzRZ

As Aho said, he’s excited about re-opening his recruitment. That likely won’t sit well with Husker fans. Then again, it is what it is.
Commits flip and de-commit all the time. It’s almost surprising when a prospect commits somewhere, months pass and then they honor that commitment.
