One former Spartan assistant who also spent a brief period of time in Ann Arbor will reportedly be leaving his current position after a Thursday bowl game.
According to Tim Reynolds with the AP, Miami OC Dan Enos and the Hurricanes are expecting to part ways following Thursday’s Independence Bowl vs Louisiana Tech. In Manny Diaz’s first year as head coach at Miami, the Hurricanes went 6-6 and averaged just 27.8 points per game.
Barring a significant change in plans, the Miami Hurricanes and offensive coordinator Dan Enos are expected to part ways after today’s Independence Bowl.

Enos began his coaching career as an assistant for Michigan State in the early 90s after wrapping up his playing career with the Spartans. He returned to East Lansing as an offensive assistant from 2006-09 before taking the head coaching position at Central Michigan.
In 2018, Enos spent a brief period of time at Michigan before leaving and joining Nick Saban’s Alabama squad for the season. He landed the Miami OC job at the end of the year.
With the offensive issues going on at Michigan State and the speculation that head coach Mark Dantonio might make a change, it will be interesting to see if a return to East Lansing is in the plans for Enos. Time will tell.
