Michigan State is looking to wrap up the season with a winning record by securing a victory in the Pinstripe Bowl.

Unfortunately, a brutal October schedule doomed the Spartans after a solid start to the year. That stretch, combined with the continued struggles of the offense, put Michigan State in a position where it needed to win its last two games to reach a bowl.

Fortunately, the Spartans beat Rutgers and Maryland to reach 6-6 and now have an opportunity to face Wake Forest in New York City. A win would give Mark Dantonio’s squad a winning record and would be the third straight for the program after the three-win 2016 season.

Ahead of the contest, Odds Shark has put out a computer prediction for the matchup. Though the Spartans enter the game as four-point favorites, this prediction has Wake Forest pulling off the upset:

Who comes out on top in New York City? Friday’s kickoff from Yankee Stadium is set for 3:20 pm EST on ESPN.
