Noah Cain is capping a strong freshman season with a great performance in the Cotton Bowl.
The former four-star recruit out of Bradenton, Florida ranked third on Penn State in rushing yardage this season with 351 yards and six touchdowns entering the Cotton Bowl. With QB Sean Clifford the team’s second-leading rusher, Cain actually had the second-highest total of a Nittany Lion running back this season.

In the Cotton Bowl, Cain has been a big part of a Penn State attack that has gained over 300 yards on the ground. Cain is closing in on a potential 100-yard game late in the fourth quarter, but he already has two touchdowns in the game.
His second of the game broke Penn State’s rushing touchdown record for a freshman:
Records were made to be broken.

With Cain, Journey Brown, Devyn Ford, and a host of talented recruits incoming for 2020, Penn State’s running back group should be a special one to watch moving forward.
